Pokemon Teams for the Soul Squad

I finished rewatching The Good Place last month. During this rewatch, I had the plan in mind to do a Pokémon mash-up with Team Cockroach. In previous Pokémon posts of this format, I posed silly hypotheticals like “What if Eleanor had a Pokemon battle with Shawn instead of doing their experiments?” We could definitely still have those conversations, but after seeing the Soul Squad arrive in the real Good Place I had a thought: at some point in the Bearimys that followed saving humanity, you can bet that Jason use the Good Place’s powers to have Pokémon battles with his friends. So here are the teams I imagined for them.

Pokemon Teams for Central Perk

Imagine for a moment if Monica and Rachel has duked it out with Joey and Chandler for the good apartment, not with a trivia contest, but in a Pokemon battle. What if Ross and Phoebe's argument about evolution had devolved into a Pokemon battle? When Joey wanted to take the foosball table, what if Chandler had challenged him? In the end, this is just another way for me to indulge my love of crossovers, but check out the Pokemon teams I thought would be appropriate for our friends on Friends.

Pokemon Teams for Dumbledore's Army

With Halloween coming up, my wife and I started rewatching the Harry Potter movies (because that's what you do every Halloween, Christmas, etc. right?). For a second, remove yourself from the movies and books. Imagine if instead of a list of spells or curses, Dumbledore's Army fought back against the Ministry and Death Eaters using Pokemon. Imagine Harry facing off against Voldemort's Ekans, Seviper, and Serperior with a team of his own.
