In fact, this blog could use more anime and manga articles, if my advice is worth anything.<br /><br />I also think it's worth mentioning that Metropolis is a weird fusion of Osamu Tezuka's iconography (creator of Astro Boy and the Godfather of manga and anime) and the classic 1925 German, silent sci-fi film of the same name. It was supposed to be an adaptation of an obscure Tezkua manga, but its clear that the story borrows a LOT from the German film.
