Dollhouse starts off slow but is the most amazing web of intrigue by the end of the first season. Such a great series!Steviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03725641065824076302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5350783821016198693.post-50515547345033363122012-05-10T00:46:23.354-05:002012-05-10T00:46:23.354-05:00I disagree about the movie lacking depth. It's not heavy-handed and obvious like the Dark Knight (which was fantastic too), but it's still there. We see it in Black Widow, the relationship between Thor and Loki, Tony Stark's interaction with Pepper Potts (the part where he makes that final, desperate call to say goodbye in case he dies!) and the Hulk (angry the WHOLE time). How Nick Fury uses a lie with the bloodstained cards to represent the Agent Coulson's true feelings and belief in the Avengers. The whole movie is full of these wonderfully HUMAN moments with people who are incredibly super human.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05579660324028852659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5350783821016198693.post-4086479373377929852012-05-09T15:28:32.257-05:002012-05-09T15:28:32.257-05:00Hay there! BUT I will admit that Marvel does have much stronger female characters, including Rogue, White Queen, Scarlet Witch and Black Widow. Though I'll fight to the death over Harley Quinn any day (in case my love letter a few weeks ago wasn't indication enough.) :)Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05851723523424915491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5350783821016198693.post-23849670400356341412012-05-09T13:47:34.329-05:002012-05-09T13:47:34.329-05:00Yeah me too. Hurray for Instant Streaming!

That, and I think X-Men had cooler GOOD female characters. The baddies in DC are awesome, but all the good gals are kind of boring. -coughbarbaracough-Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05579660324028852659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5350783821016198693.post-45522097988481697522012-05-09T12:56:18.637-05:002012-05-09T12:56:18.637-05:00What action movie these days is deep? This movie was amazing and has made Joss Whedon even more awesome than I originally thought he was (and he's always been awesome). I'm a fan of both DC and Marvel characters, but I've enjoyed the Marvel movies more than the recent installment of Batman (I know Joe, we're no longer friends).
If you have not seen the awesomeness that is Dollhouse, I highly recommend it (another Joss Whedon show that Fox was dumb enough to cancel).Kandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03901523394662249266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5350783821016198693.post-29722326982773887562012-05-09T09:14:50.341-05:002012-05-09T09:14:50.341-05:00I've seen The Avengers but once. Two thumbs up from me!

I don't think I've ever laughed so often before in a movie, nor have I ever clapped during a movie before. The X-Men, for example, I could feel connected to more so then any of the DC heroes.

I wouldn't say the movie was as deep as a kiddie pool. It did have one theme in particular that I thought was very interesting and starting to be common in Joss Whedon flicks.Steviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03725641065824076302noreply@blogger.com
